Is This Book For Me? Sometimes, it's difficult to make up our minds on whether to read a book or not. I can't wait to see what Beaumont has written for Assassin's Gambit! Opinions: Even though it is shorter, I much prefer Royal's Vow to Hunter's Truce! I enjoyed the first book of the series, but I found everything to be better in the second: the characters, the conflict, the writing style, even the setting! Beaumont got to know her characters better and, with the additional pages, she was able to add character development, which I appreciate.
